Earlier this month, FHA Approved Appraiser announced the official launch of their new online FHA appraiser directory. "We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new FHA appraiser directory today." said a Valerie Nelson, a company spokesperson. FHA Approved Appraiser has clients who are HUD approved lenders who are currently ordering FHA appraisals in all 50 states. Experienced FHA appraisers can list their company details including full contact information and will receive appraisal orders directly through the site. We caught up with the cheif company spokesperson Valerie Nelson to find out how the launch is going. Here is what she had to say:
"Our FHA Appraiser members will have the benefit of listing all of their contact details many of which are not found on the current HUD roster, and the opportunity to receive FHA appraisal orders directly from our current client base of over 300 HUD approved lenders." said Valerie. "We are pleased by the number of enrollments but even more important than the signups, we are estatic to have delivered 35 appraisal assignments to members of our site in a little over 2 weeks." One of the things that we found when we took a closer look at the business model of FHA Approved Appraiser is that they actually spent the better part of their first year in business simply working on signing clients and not appraisers. They had a team of sales professionals in the field locating and signing up FHA lenders to utilize their services before the site even existed.
